Items include resignation of Morgan, of Petersburg and Richmond, Virginia, from the Royal Arch Masons (1867); letter of recommendation for gun-maker and machinist Morgan from lawyer John Lyon and Richmond City Attorney A.M. Keeler; directions for making vinegar; map of J. A. Mizell's land on Deer Creek at Caney, Mississippi; as well as newspaper and magazine clippings on agricultural and other subjects. Ephemera collection includes 23 pages from an album of chromolithographed greeting and trade cards (ca. 1880-1886), mostly representing businesses in Baltimore, New York City, and Massachusetts.
